Tanzania Tales - Amma's Diaries
Day 1 - Transit mode
Location: Departure Gate, Bole international airport
Time: 9:16am
Here we are..in the soil of amazing Africa again..for the fourth time after all four of us visited Egypt, Kenya and Zimbabwe.
Already started missing you both very badly - Tarun & Ram … so far in our 13 visits, this is the first time Appa and I are travelling without you both guys!
Well, will try to make it up with short notes and pen down whenever possible for the next 5 days!
Here we are..in a glossy glass building covered with 360 degree view of mountains, buildings and ground happenings with ground staff, busy 4 small aircrafts, couple of big ones, buses, fuel trucks & cargo carriers in Bole international airport. Surprising to see morning hours in the airport - pretty full with enthusiastic travelers - especially super enthusiastic seniors and super seniors…
Thought that struck me on observing them today- all travelers possess extra special features ..apart from their sport shoes & cargo shorts & sling bags!! Guess what?
They stand out with a broad smile in their lips and curiosity and wilderness in their eyes to explore the beauty of Africa- mostly white skinned westerners🤩 Guess quite a number of octogenarians also would be sitting in our gate waiting to board Kilimanjaro flight, Ethiopian airlines!
Waiting to get my empty brain loaded with more and more memorable moments, stunning shots of nature & enthralling experiences! Now in mental transit mode too -Getting adapted mentally to this transit phase in our transit of journey in the airport!
